Toby Keith takes full control on new albumby MT Bureau - June 12, 2007 - 1 comments
Nashville -- Nashville star Toby Keith took on a new role on his latest album -- producer. The multi-platinum country music kingpin stepped behind the control board for his just-released 12th album, "Big Dog Daddy," which is also the second he's released on his own Show Dog Nashville label. "I came to a point in my life where I said, 'I want my fingerprints all over my music from now on,' " Keith explains. "I want people to hear that I've got my own identity." Besides producing, Keith co-wrote nine of the album's 11 songs, including the first single, "High Maintenance Woman." Keith's tour to promote "Big Dog Daddy" kicks off June 21 in Birmingham, Ala. -- Post new comment |
