Memphis police said Corrine Hines-Smith, 32, left the home of boyfriend Jerome Simmons, 40, after 8 p.m. Tuesday and Simmons jumped on the hood of her car while she was pulling away, the Memphis Commercial-Appeal reported Wednesday.
"Officers were working traffic, and they clocked her doing 60," Lt. Jerry Gwyn said of Hines-Smith, "then they noticed this man on her hood."
Police pulled the car over and Hines-Smith was arrested for aggravated assault.
They said Simmons was unharmed.
