Coming in at No. 2 on the list of the most-rented DVDs of 2009 is "The Proposal," followed by "Taken" at No. 3, "Gran Torino" at No. 4 and "Knowing" at No. 5.
The year's top five "bromances" were led by "I Love You, Man" at No. 1; "Year One" at No. 2; "My Best Friend's Girl" at No. 3; "Pineapple Express" at No. 4; and "Role Models" at No. 5.
Topping the roster for adrenaline rushes is "Taken" at No. 1; "Knowing" at No. 2; "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" at No. 3; "Obsessed" at No. 4; and "G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra" at No. 5.
The best-renting chick flick is "The Proposal," followed by "Bride Wars" at No. 2; "He's Just Not That into You" at No. 3; "17 Again" at No. 4; and "Ghosts of Girlfriends Past" at No. 5.
"Gran Torino" led the field of top-renting tearjerkers, followed by "Marley & Me" at No. 2; "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" at No. 3; "Seven Pounds" at No. 4; and "The Soloist" at No. 5.
"Bedtime Stories" was No. 1 on redbox's list of family fun movies, followed by "Bolt" at No. 2; "Beverly Hills Chihuahua" at No. 3; "Up" at No. 4; and "Hotel for Dogs" at No. 5.
