Tom Brady’s Dad rebuffs engagement reports

New York, United States, December 29: The word was out -- New England Patriots hunk, Tom Brady proposed to Victoria's Secret model Gisele Bundchen, in the most fanciful way and she said YES! But, the families of the two rebuffed the news and responded otherwise.

Reportedly, Brady had taken Gisele on a private jet that took off from Teterboro Airport in New Jersey on Christmas Eve, where he proposed to the lady in the most grand way. However eventually, the whole grandeur turned superfluous as Tom’s father, Tom Brady Sr. denied that there was any truth in the reports of his son’s engagement to the model.

"We don't know a thing about it," Tom's father said. "Nobody told me. We talked to him and there's nothing to say. It’s rumor, rumor, rumor. It must be a slow news day."

Meanwhile, Bundchen’s twin sister Patricia also denied the reports of engagement. Reportedly, she e-mailed People magazine to confirm that the reports of her sister being engaged are "not true."

However, the model's publicist refused to comment on the report.

Stacey James, a spokesman for the Patriots said, "I heard the report that he [proposed] on a plane, but I don't think it's true. Tom keeps his private life private."

It seems that the most exciting Christmas news was all a figment of some blatantly imaginative mind. But, quite a meticulous imagination, we must say. It took care of all the bits, from the take off place to the four dozen roses, champagne and Gisele's parents on the plane, the story had it all.

Another report that further shifts the engagement news towards fiction said that the couple was seen on Beacon Street on Friday and there was no engagement ring on Bundchen’s finger.
