Jolie-Pitt Twins Ready for Closeups, First Pictures on Sunday

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's newborn twins, Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline, finally are ready for their close-ups. As expected, the rights to the twins' first photoshoot are sold to People magazine for a whopping $14 million, a person close to the deal confirmed Friday.

People magazine, apparently winning the bidding war for the U.S. and Canadian rights to the twins' first photoshoot, will feature twin babies’ highly anticipated closeups in an issue to hit newsstands Monday.

eFluxMedia cited a People spokeswoman, Nancy Valentino, as saying that this is for the second time around, the celebrity magazine has secured the North American rights to the hot couple's exclusive baby pictures in exchange for a hefty donation to charity. However, she didn't reveal how much was paid for the photos, which were expected to fetch a figure that would be much more than the previous baby-pic payouts.

"We're thrilled to be able to feature these pictures in People," eFluxMedia quoted managing editor Larry Hackett as saying. "They will delight our readers who have followed the growth of the Jolie-Pitt family."

The money, which doubles the $6 million People paid to feature Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony’s newborn twins, Max and Emme, on a March cover, will be used for a charitable purpose. Images from the exclusive photo shoot of the newborn twins, who were born one minute apart, and the family will raise funds that will be donated to an organization created by Pitt and Jolie that largely focuses on helping children around the world.

The images have been exclusively licensed to London-based Hello! Magazine in other international territories.

Getty Images, the world's leading creator and distributor of visual content and digital media which was involved in the Shiloh deal, will also take part this time around.

Hollywood beauty queen Angelina Jolie delivered the long-anticipated twins by Cesarean section on July 12.

The celebrity couple, known in the media as "Brangelina", has four other children, 3 adopted and one biological daughter, all under the age of seven. The twins brought the number of children of the world’s most beautiful family to six.

The Academy Award-winning actress has a son Maddox, 6, whom she adopted in neighboring Cambodia in 2002, a 3 years old daughter Zahara, whom she adopted in year 2006 from Ethiopia, Pax, 4, from Vietnam, and a 21-month-old biological daughter, Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt, with Brad Pitt, of "Ocean's Eleven" fame. The twins are couple’s fifth and sixth children.
