Lindsay Lohan Escapes Injury in Motorbike Mishap

Hollywood actress Lindsay Lohan met an accident on Friday night when motorcyclist sideswiped her in a New York street. Fortunately, she escaped injury.

In a report by the New York Post, the 22-year-old actress-singer’s father Michael Lohan is quoted telling the newspaper that his daughter was hit by a motorcyclist outside a New York nightclub Friday night.

Lohan was partying with her friend Samantha Ronson in the club, and when they were leaving, she was hit by someone on a motorbike. She was taken to Beth Israel Medical Center in New York and was released Saturday morning at 4 a.m.

"She's not hurt. That's all I really care about," the father Lohan said of his daughter.

Meanwhile some other reports emerged saying that the "Herbie: Fully Loaded" star did not meet any accident. A E! News report quoted publicist Leslie Sloane as saying that the reports of Lohan’s accident and hospitalization aren't true.

"I spoke to Lindsay, and she said nothing happened," E! News quoted Sloane as saying.

Since all the reports are contradicting one another, it’s really not clear what happened, if anything, to the actress, who has been in New York filming the new season of the TV show "Ugly Betty."

The latest buzz about the “Mean Girls” star is that she is dating Samantha Ronson. Although, there has been no acknowledgment from either side, but circumstances are quite indicative of the gay relationship.

Early this month, the two were spotted together at Sephora 10th Anniversary celebrations at the Angel Orensanz Foundation in New York City. Dressed in skinny jeans with a shirt and had her hair tucked under a hat, Ronson was giving boyish look, while Lohan was in her girlie sequined attire. The actress and her DJ mate have been spotted hugging, kissing and holding hands at the event.
