Hollywood actress Katherine Heigl and musician Josh Kelley on Sunday got married in a brief ceremony in Utah. An Emmy-winning star of medical drama "Grey's Anatomy" tied knot with her musician boyfriend under a marquee at a resort in Park City, Utah.

The marriage ceremony of the 29-year-old model-turned-actress Heigl and Kelley, 27 took place in a small, private tent at the Stein Eriksen Lodge in front of a small group of family and friends.

"We're madly in love and she makes me excited to become married and to have a family and spend my life with someone. We're fairly opposite but we also share a lot of the same values," said Kelley.

Heigl's co-stars Sandra Oh, Kate Walsh and T.R. Knight were among the guests who attended the black-tie ceremony. The area, where the nuptials held, was decorated with white flowers and white candles. The nuptuals lasted about 30 minutes.

Knight called the ceremony "incredible and beautiful." The ceremony was officiated by Unitarian Minister Tom Goldsmith.

Born on November 24, 1978, in Washington D.C, Katherine Heigh is a Golden Globe-nominated American actress. She is best known for her roles on the TV series Roswell and Grey's Anatomy.

She is also known for her comic role in the feature film Knocked Up in 2007, opposite Seth Rogen.

Heigl, who first attracted the public's attention when she portrayed Gerard Depardieu's disobedient daughter Nicole in the remake of the French film My Father, the Hero in 1994, met Kelley in 2005 when she appeared in Kelley's music video "Only You."
In June 2006, she became engaged to scruffy singer/songwriter Josh Kelley.

"We've talked a lot about it," Heigl told earlier this month to Entertainment Tonight. "Like, 'Are you having second thoughts here?' And he's like, 'No, I'm so ready for this,' because it's already been 18 months of planning, and we're both just ready for this to happen already."

"I'm super excited to have a family," she added. "I've always wanted a family, a large family. [We'll wait] like, a year."

In September, the actress won the trophy for best supporting actress in a drama at the 59th annual Emmy Awards show in Los Angeles, after beating out her "Grey's Anatomy" co-stars Sandra Oh and Chandra Wilson, as well as "The Sopranos" stars Lorraine Bracco and Aida Turturro.

Born on January 30, 1980 in Augusta, Georgia Kelley is a critically acclaimed singer-songwriter. He began his musical career at the age of eleven. He has toured with many artists including Third Eye Blind, Toby Lightman, and Counting Crows.

Kelley, whose musical style is similar to that of Jack Johnson, John Mayer, and Ben Harper, is due to release a new album in February.
