New York -- Toronto Blue Jays third baseman Troy Glaus was named Monday as the American League player of the week. Glaus batted .400 (10-for-25) during the week, with two doubles, four homers and 24 total bases. He had a .960 slugging percentage. Glaus had seven RBI and scored eight runs, as he won the Player of the Week award for the fourth time, but his first time as a Blue Jay. © Copyright 2007 United Press International |
