Rent-A-Center opens store in Fenton

Rent-A-Center (RAC) is on an expansion spree. After opening store in Depew, New York; Petosky, Michigan; and Mocksville, North Carolina last month, the American public furniture and electronics rent to own company is opening store in Fenton in the state of Michigan.

Located at at 1360 Leroy Road, the new store is approximately 4,240-square, and features products from brands like Ashley, Serta, HP, Sony and Whirlpool.

A grand opening celebration is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 6, at 12:00 p.m. for the residents.

"We are happy to be a part of the community and look forward to servicing the needs of our customers," said Rent-A-Center Manager Jeffery Churchfield.

This is not RAC's first store in Michigan. In fact, it has stores in 107 locations in the state. Overall, the Plano, Texas-based company has 3,000 stores in the United States, Puerto Rico, Canada and Mexico.
