COL FB: Oklahoma 47, Oklahoma State 41
Stillwater, Okla. -- Landry Jones tossed two of his four touchdown passes in a wild fourth quarter Saturday and No. 13 Oklahoma pulled out a 47-41 win over No. 9 Oklahoma State.
The Sooners (10-2, 6-2 Big 12) were tied with the Cowboys 24-24 after three quarters, but reeled off 23 points in the final frame, including Jones's TD tosses of 86 yards to to Cameron Kenney and 77 yards to James Hanna.
Jimmy Stevens also kicked three of his four field goals in the frantic final period, during which the Sooners never trailed but had to fend off 17 points by the Cowboys (10-2, 6-2), who lost to Oklahoma for the eighth straight time.
Oklahoma State needed a win to claim the Big 12 South division outright, but couldn't manage it and so fell into a tie with Oklahoma and Texas A&M to finish the regular season.
The division champion will be named Sunday when the latest BCS rankings are released.
