The Floyd County Sheriff's Department said the semi left the road in the early hours Tuesday and the roof ripped open, spilling the snacks onto Rudd Park Road near the intersection with Highway 27, The (Mason City) Globe-Gazette reported Wednesday.
The driver, Eric Young, 39, of Charleston, S.C., and passenger
Martin Brandon, 32, of Bridgeport, Conn., received treatment for minor injuries.
The sheriff's department said crews spent about three hours cleaning the Jell-O and pudding from the road. Damage to the semi was estimated at $50,000.
