NBA: Atlanta 102, Houston 95

Houston-- Josh Smith scored 22 points, Joe Johnson had 20 and Atlanta went on a 21-3 run Monday en route to a 102-95 win over the cold-shooting Houston Rockets.

The Hawks won for the first time in Houston since Feb. 25, 1999.

Jamal Crawford added 17 points for Atlanta, which took the lead for good with its surge late in the first half.

Carl Landry notched 16 points and Aaron Brooks had 15 for the Rockets, who shot just 39.8 percent from the field.

Houston took 26 shots from 3-point range and hit just five of them.
