NHL: Anaheim 3, Vancouver 2

Vancouver, British Columbia -- Saku Koivu scored on the power play with 4:13 to play Wednesday, giving the Anaheim Ducks a 3-2 victory over Vancouver.

The Ducks, with the worst record in the Western Conference, won their second straight and denied Vancouver what would have been its first four-game winning streak of the season.

The Canucks are midway through a season-long, eight-game homestand.

Vancouver twice overcame a one-goal deficit, tying it at 2-2 on Steve Bernier's wrist shot 2:03 into the third period. Kevin Bieksa was called for tripping with 5:38 left in the third, the only penalty of the period, and Anaheim capitalized when Koivu put a backhander past Roberto Luongo.

Jonas Hiller made 28 saves to get the win -- his second in a row after having allowed 11 goals in a three-game span.
