Crude oil prices fall Friday

New York -- Crude oil prices were down Friday, slipping below $70 per barrel after equities on Wall Street fell for the fourth consecutive day.

Crude oil stayed within the pricing pattern of the past month, dropping $1.08 to $69.74 per barrel Friday. Heating oil prices lost 0.0299 cents to $1.79 per gallon. Reformulated gasoline prices lost 0.0129 cents to $1.737 per gallon.

Natural gas prices lost 0.263 cents to $4.713 per million British thermal units.

At the pump, the national average price for unleaded gasoline was $2.465 per gallon Friday, down from Thursday's $2.469, AAA said.
