Sparks, the 2007 winner of "Idol," is slated to perform her latest song on Wednesday's edition of the singing competition show. The 19 Recordings/Jive Records artist is confirmed to release her as-yet-untitled sophomore effort this summer, JIVE Label Group said in a news release.
"Battlefield" is the first single from her upcoming album.
The song is currently available for purchase exclusively on iTunes but fans will be able to buy it through all other digital outlets as of May 19, the release said.
Sparks along with Honor Society are confirmed special guests on the North American leg of the 52-date "The Jonas Brothers World Tour 2009," which kicks off in Dallas June 20, JIVE said.
