Los Angeles -- "Megamind," with the voices of Will Farrell and Brad Pitt, claimed No. 1 at the U.S. box office during the weekend with more than $30.05 million.
It was the animated film's second weekend atop the box office.
"Unstoppable," with Denzel Washington, was third with $23.5 million. "Due Date," with Robert Downey, Jr. and Zach Galifianakis, was third with $15.53 million.
All studio gross estimates are via Box Office Mojo.
"Skyline" was fourth with more than $11.67 million; "Morning Glory" fifth with more than $9.62 million; "For Colored Girls" sixth with $6.75 million; "Red" seventh with more than $5.11 million; "Paranormal Activity 2" eighth with $3.05 million; and "Saw 3D" ninth with $2.75 million.

LondonActor Brad Pitt -- Hollywood actor and activist Brad Pitt says he would consider the death penalty for those responsible for the BP oil spill.
The Daily Mail said Pitt made the remark in "If God is Willing and Da Creek Don't Rise," Spike Lee's documentary marking the fifth anniversary of when New Orleans was ravaged by Hurricane Katrina.
To help the region in the aftermath of the natural disaster, Pitt started up the Make it Right organization to build 150 affordable and sustainable homes in one of the areas of New Orleans worst hit by the hurricane. His efforts are documented in Lee's film, the Mail said.

Los Angeles -- Hollywood film star Brad Pitt was photographed without the scraggly beard he has been sporting for nearly a year.
People.com said the 46-year-old star and father of six trimmed the beard last week and was seen Monday on the Los Angeles set of "Moneyball" with no facial hair.
Pitt is playing Oakland A's General Manager Billy Beane in the movie, which also stars Jonah Hill, Philip Seymour Hoffman and Robin Wright.
