BMW Mini Paceman to hit the markets on March 16

The Mini Paceman, the first ever sports activity coupe was first seen at the Paris Motor Show last year and is now all set to enter the car market on 16th of this month.

The Mini Paceman made many eyes turn when BMW Group showed the glimpse of this sports car for the first time at Paris Motor Show and raised the curiosity of car lovers.

The Mini Paceman will share the market stands with the Roadster, the Coupe, the Clubvan and the Countryman. This new much awaited coupe by BMW will be launched in seven different variants and the buyers will have a choice to select from either of the two petrol engines or one of the two diesel motors.

Features of Mini Paceman

The features and specifications of the Mini Paceman are worth mentioning. It is powered by a turbocharged 1.6-litre, four-pot petrol engine that has a max power output of 119bhp and a peak torque figure of 16.3kgm.

This sportier Cooper S Paceman or The Mini Paceman is packed with a powerful petrol engine that delivers 181bhp of max power and 24.5kgm of peak torque.

Not only this, the Mini Cooper S Paceman has something exciting for all those drivers who love to step on the gas. It has claimed 0-100kph timing of 7.5sec. This engine gets the four-wheel-drive ‘ALL4’ option.

Engine Strength of Mini Paceman

Talking about the engine power, the Mini Paceman is available in two diesel engine variants. The entry level model of front-wheel-drive Cooper D variant delivers 110bhp and the car features a six-speed manual transmission. The Cooper SD gets 141bhp-31.1kgm and is available in both 2WD and AWD variants.

This new launch of BMW is compared with other Coupes in the market. It is said that it has a sportier drive as compared to Countryman and is more spacious than the Coupe. Talking about the features, the car is based on same platform as that of Countryman and shares the same wheelbase and the track.
