CEO Speaks
Renault CEO Carlos Ghosn, shared his views on the ongoing market situation in Europe post the 2008 crash and expressed hope of tiding over the recent slump. "What we don't want is for it to become catastrophic. As long as the decline is 2-3 percent or at best stable for the next five years, we can manage," referring to the declining sales.

"The only way to prepare for that is to make sure you have strong growth and profitable growth in other markets," said the CEO while talking about the preparation for the worst case scenario. "We're sure that we have a product that's not French; it's a global product."
