Los Angeles -- Mark Burnett's former business partner reportedly has filed a $70 million lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court against the reality television producer.
Conrad Riggs worked with Burnett for more than a decade and collaborated with him on hit shows such as "Survivor" and "The Apprentice," Variety.com reported.
Riggs is suing Burnett for allegedly failing to live up to an oral agreement they had, which Riggs claims entitles him to 10 percent of the profits from Burnett's company, the entertainment industry trade newspaper reported Tuesday.
Riggs alleges Burnett "stopped all payments" in February 2007 in violation of their pact.
He is seeking to resume his arrangement with Burnett and to recover the money he says has been withheld.
Variety.com said both Burnett and Riggs were unavailable to comment on the lawsuit.
