Brad Pitt looking for new motorbike in Japan

<strong>Los Angeles, November 4:</strong>Mega movie star Brad Pitt is looking for a new motorcycle after his favorite bike was wrecked in last month’s crash in Los Angeles, according to the Associated Press. While promoting the movie, Pitt said he felt lucky to be chosen as the leading man- Tennessean Lt. Aldo Raine- in the movie "Inglorius Basterds"

Los Angeles, November 4:Mega movie star Brad Pitt is looking for a new motorcycle after his favorite bike was wrecked in last month’s crash in Los Angeles, according to the Associated Press.

Countless reports swarmed the cyberspace late last month claiming that Pitt was hit by a paparazzo while riding his motorcycle in Hollywood, California. Fortunately, the heartthrob of millions was not hurt, thanks to the helmet he was wearing at the time of the accident occurred on Oct. 24.

A photo agency’s report claimed at the time that Pitt was cut off by a photographer in a Toyota Camry, causing the “Inglourious Basterds” star to swerve into another vehicle.

Pitt on hunt for new bike
The big bike fan Pitt, who is currently in Japan promoting his latest movie, “Inglourious Basterds,” is now on the hunt for a new hog to replace his damaged one.

"I had a little mishap," Ap quoted the actor as saying during an Inglourious Basterds event in Tokyo on Wednesday. "No injuries, except my ego. I was trying to get away from some paparazzi and instead gave them a good story.

"It was my favorite bike, so that is really sad," he added.

Pitt, the well-known motorcycle enthusiast, also said that while he is in Japan, which is one of the best-known motorcycle-building nations of the world, he will be looking for a new bike here in the land of the rising Sun..

"I will definitely be looking at motorcycles," he said. "You've got some of the best builders right here."

"Inglourious Basterds" premiered in Japan
Directed by Quentin Tarantino, "Inglourious Basterds" follows a band of Jewish American soldiers. The movie premiered in Tokyo on Wednesday.

While promoting the movie, Pitt said he felt lucky to be chosen as the leading man- Tennessean Lt. Aldo Raine- in the movie. "We had heard about this script for about eight years before it came my way, so it had taken on a mythical dimension," he said at a news conference. "I was doubly flattered because Quentin originally wrote the part for himself."

"What made me want to make the film is simply that I like war movies," continued Tarantino. "The initial idea sometimes is really as simple as wanting to make a war movie or a car chase movie. The rest goes from there."

Pitt was most recently seen in "Inglorius Basterds" and his upcoming movies are "Beyond All Boundaries," "The Tree of Life," "Oobermind," and "The Lost City of Z."
