Baltimore, June 17: Aubrey Huff put Baltimore in front with a two-run homer in the seventh inning Wednesday and the Orioles held on to down the New York Mets 6-4.

The Mets scored twice in the sixth to tie the score, but Baltimore produced the decisive runs one inning later against reliever Pedro Feliciano (2-2).

Bobby Parnell opened the seventh and struck out Adam Jones. Feliciano then came on and gave up a single to Nick Markakis before surrendering Huff's ninth homer of the season. Huff also singled in a run in the first and Matt Wieters contributed a two-run homer in the second.

Jim Johnson (3-3), the fourth Baltimore pitcher, worked two innings to get the inter-league win. George Sherrill picked up his 13th save.

Baltimore's Koji Uehara made his 11th start of the season, but again failed to earn what would have been his first win since mid-April. He won his first two games of the year, but has gone 0-4 with four no-decisions since then.
